International Service

International Service is one of the pillars of the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea.  We have a few amazingly passionate, highly effective club members that live for this type of 'giving-back' or 'sharing what you can'.  The type of work that pays huge margins on your work and effort.  When working with grants and partnering across sea's, it is possible to partner with a wide variety of organizations and governments to participate in the right, good cause.  With only $1500 of club money, a highly motivated, effective group can partner with others to get over $50,000 in monetary/grant benefit to the receiving group.  This is exactly what we did in 2007 helping the great efforts of Lucena, Phillipines welfare center with a fresh water tank, beds for orphans, a van for transportation and deliveries, laptops for the children and much more.  Other examples include a water project in Pulau and another water project with Water for People in Loyola heights.
